He belongs to the
generation of the young oud artists who explored the various abilities of
the instrument through his approach from a different point of view. This
concept was embodied in the pieces he composed for the Tunisian Symphonic
Orchestra and presented on the occasion of the International Symphonic
Festival EL DJEM, Tunisia.

Mιditerranιenne’, which tries to find new forms of expression of the

language’, making a positive contribution to the Arabian music and enriching
the Arabian Music Library.

his long experience in teaching, he combines the written and audio method in
his teaching system. With the combination of these elements, he considers
that he can achieve both the knowledge of melody and rhythm and the conquest
of the artistic expression and the performance of the musical piece, as well
as the technique, which consists of the interpretation of the original music
text ornamented in accordance with the spirit of the Arabian music.
At present, Kamel
Ferjani is the Head of the Studies and Training Department in the Higher
